Nigeria's premier league champion Enyimba fc of Aba fell 0-4 to Zanaco of Zambia Saturday in their first leg, round of 16 match in the CAF Confederation Cup in Lusaka.

All the goals came in the first half of the match, played at the Sunset Stadium.

The loss of the Nigerian team, called the 'Peoples Elephants', may not be unconnected with the players' demand for the payment of their contract fees for the just-concluded Premier League season.

The team also arrived in Lusaka less than 24 hours before Saturday's clash, hence they had little or no time to settle down.

The second leg comes up in Aba, Nigeria, in two weeks.
